Big Nedry Energy! Welcome to Sensei Sensibility!  You  are the hungry mind yearning to learn about the secret, inner workings of Ireland's largest Comic Con;  I  am the (questionably) knowledgeable  Sensei , more than happy to satiate your nerdy appetite. Sunday, March 12th, 6am: Up! Up! GEDDUUUUP! Bellows the internal scream, as I externally sob. Ireland is in the grips of a dual monsoon-season/snow-spell; it is as bitterly miserable a Sunday morning as you can possibly imagine. Only madmen or those being paid to be up at this time, in these conditions, would be up.  But I am not gaining financially from being up at this ungodly hour, I am in fact volunteering my sacred Sunday to help out at Dublin Comic Con .  Not only that, but I even PAID a volunteer deposit to offer up my (not so) free time. Does this mean I fall under the latter, "madmen", category?  Unequivocally. 8am: Armed with a belly-full of porridge, comfortable shoes, my refillable water bottle, and Lil

Welcome to Sensei Sensibility!  You  are the hungry mind yearning to ruin your precious childhood Pokémon memories;  I  am the (questionably) knowledgeable  Sensei , more than happy to satiate your ghoulish appetite. This is a delightfully odd story your character will be told by a besuited gentleman along said Route 14 in  Poké mon X&Y . While random, creepy moments are now a fan-staple of the Pokémon games, I've always enjoyed this one as it's clearly a n

Punk Samurai (2018) - Third Window Films Review

Welcome to Sensei Sensibility!  You  are the hungry mind yearning to devour quality Asian cinema;  I  am the (questionably) knowledgeable  Sensei , more than happy to satiate your cinematic appetite. "Is this literature, or a prank?" - Masahiro Higashide Gakuryu Ishii 's 2018 movie adaptation of Ko Machida 's novel Punk Samurai Slash Down - how the hell do I review this without sounding like I've been licking hallucinogenic toads?  Let us start at the beginning, dear readers.  Picture it: Rural feudal Japan. A purple haze rolls over the mountains of the Kuroae domain. The camera surfs along with the rock 'n' roll soundtrack. A lone samurai and a ne'er do-well cross (exquisitely framed) paths. The ne'er do-well is obviously a member of the troublesome "Bellyshaker Party" and must be cut down by the lone samurai. And in an explosion of blood worthy of a  Tokyo Gore  flick, we are introduced to the potty-mouthed, "superhuman swordsma
